Cohort 7 of the Lloyd’s Mentoring Programme opens for registration in April 2027

Are you looking for a new mentor? Do you need help with a topic, skills, behaviour and even specific Lloyd’s insurance market knowledge?

If so, this mentoring programme could help you connect with someone who you can advise.

Cohort 2 celebrated 176 mentoring relationships and 23% more mentors than cohort 1.

Cohort 3 started with 206 mentoring relationships and 16% more mentors and 6% more mentees than cohort 2.

Over 450+ colleagues joined cohort 4, with an NPS score of 77 and satisfaction rating: 9.09.

Cohort 5 had 112 mentoring relationships, with 47 companies across the market supporting networking, technical and career development conversations.

Cohort 6 has now closed for registration, with over 440 participants from across the London Market.

Mentees and mentors are matching from 17 different countries, showing the global reach of this programme.

Cohort 7 will open for matching in May 2027 – updates will be posted here.

Mentors needed – make a real difference!

In our last cohort, over 100 mentees couldn’t find a match – and we need your support to change that. By giving just 6 hours over 6 months (around one hour per month), you can help someone grow, gain confidence, and achieve their goals.

Mentoring is a powerful way to share your experience, strengthen your leadership skills, and build connections across the organisation. Your guidance can make a lasting impact on someone’s career journey.

Who the mentoring programme is for

Anyone globally who would like to be supported in their personal growth and career journey, or has an interest in ‘giving back’ through helping others to develop.

Our offering is available to employees of companies that are within the Lloyd’s & London insurance market (Managing Agents / Brokers / Coverholders / Companies such as TPAs which are registered at Lloyd’s).

How it works

We help match mentors with mentees through a platform called Pushfar. Twice a year we’ll open PushFar, and you’ll then have two weeks to explore the system and find a match for yourself. The system will help you with this by suggesting potential matches whose experience most closely connects with your needs, or vice versa. If you’ve had no luck in this two week window, we’ll step in to help find you a match.

You can create a profile any time before the next opening date, via the PushFar platform, but you won’t be able to make any matches until we open the scheme. Be thoughtful about your profile. The more specifics you include about yourself and your learning needs or experience, the more likely you are to find your perfect mentoring match.

We will hold webinars before each opening date to talk you through the system and how to make the most of your mentoring relationship. There’s also a wealth of resources within PushFar to help you on your way once you’ve found a mentee or mentor.

Both parties can gain benefits through mentoring.

Time commitment

This can be decided by you and your mentoring partner, but we suggest that you meet for one hour a month, for six months.

Cost

There is no cost to apply. All costs will be borne centrally by Lloyd’s, however any assistance with travel costs for face-to face meetings need to be paid locally.

Cohort 6 has closed for registration.

Cohort 7 will open for matching in May 2027.
