Inclusive recruitment goals

We have set out an ambition for the Lloyd’s market and Corporation:  

Ethnicity

We aim for 1 in 3 new hires in the market and the Corporation to come from ethnic minority backgrounds, monitoring progress at all levels. This will have the impact of growing ethnic minority representation in the market total workforce.

Women in leadership

To improve the gender balance in leadership roles, we have set a target of 35% women in leadership positions across the market and corporation.

We have developed a pool of diverse employees from a range of characteristics, trained in inclusive recruitment to support Lloyd’s interview panels, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives is available to assess candidates.

Accessibility & inclusive facilities

Our accessibility and inclusion statement for the Lloyd’s building lists all the accessible features of One Lime Street, including a prayer room and a mix of male, female, gender neutral and accessible toilet facilities.

Lloyd’s Together Network  

The Lloyd’s Together network is an umbrella diversity and inclusion network for the Corporation.
