Election to the Council of Lloyd's

By a notice dated 11 November 2019, members were informed of the vacancies arising.

At the close of nominations at 1.00pm on 26 November 2019, valid nomination papers had been received as follows:

Working member – two candidates for two vacancies

Mr Andrew BROOKS
Mr Dominic CHRISTIAN

As the number of working member candidates equals the number of vacancies, a ballot will not be necessary.  Mr Brooks and Mr Christian have therefore each been re-elected.

Individual external member – one candidate for one vacancy

Nameco 1249 Limited (represented by Mr Jeffery BARRATT)

As the number of individual external candidates equals the number of vacancies, a ballot will not be necessary.  Nameco 1249 Limited (represented by Mr Barratt) has therefore been re-elected.

C-external member – one candidate for one vacancy

Munich Re Capital Limited (represented by Mr Dominick HOARE)

As the number of C-external candidates equals the number of vacancies, a ballot will not be necessary.  Munich Re Capital Limited (represented by Mr Hoare) has therefore been re-elected.

All terms of office will be for a period of four months commencing on 1 February 2020.
