iCAN BHM - Empowering Black Women: Navigating Life & Celebrating Sisters

About this event

iCAN are very excited to present to you this event for "Black History Month: Empowering Black Women - Navigating Life and Celebrating Sisters" in partnership with Chubb! This year iCAN's BHM theme is Celebrating Our Sisters, highlighting the crucial role that black women have played in shaping history, inspiring change, and building communities. So this year, they are excited to bring you a powerful All-Female Panel to celebrate black women everywhere.

This event's primary goal is to raise awareness about the complex challenges faced within the black community, with a specific emphasis on the experiences of black women. Their esteemed all-black female panel will engage in an insightful dialogue, discussing their intersectional identities, sharing personal experiences, and shedding light on the unique challenges they confront daily.

The session will be moderated by Echaunti Swan (iCAN) and the panel will include:

  • India Ngoma, Tokio Marine Kiln
  • Jada Wallace, Berkshire Hathaway
  • Ditebogo Nhlapo, Chubb
  • Hanan Guthmy, CFC
