Lloyd’s, WTW and TWIN (The World Innovation Network) are delighted to invite you to an exclusive panel session “AI: Utopia, Dystopia, or Both. A perspective for Risk and People" exploring potential opportunities and threats for the insurance and people business in the evolving AI landscape.

Over the last year we have witnessed the early stages of an AI revolution taking hold. There is inevitably a wide range of views on the impact that AI will have for people, and businesses. This panel session will bring together top leaders from the worlds of Risk, People, Computer Science and new AI ventures to explore what the future might really look like.

Please join us in the Old Library at 5pm on Thursday 2 November for a future-focussed panel discussion with AI and industry leaders to explore threat and opportunities of the evolving AI landscape and its impact on risk landscape and global workforce in the panel discussion "AI: Utopia, Dystopia, or Both. A perspective for Risk and People". The discussion will also explore the role of regulation and government to ensure a secure and ethical AI adoption a few decades from now.

The confirmed panellists include:

  • John Bremen - Chief Innovation & Acceleration Officer, WTW
  • Yngvar Ugland - Chief Data Officer, DNB
  • Marco Lo Giudice - Head of Emerging Risks, Lloyd’s of London
  • Rob Wolcott - Co-Founder and Chair, TWIN; Adjunct Professor of Innovation, Booth School of Business, University of Chicago & Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University (Moderator)
  • Sue Black OBE - Professor of Computer Science Durham University

The panel will be followed by informal drinks and canapes, and the opportunity to continue the discussion with your peers.
