Reviewing the Core Data Record Template

Learn about how you can review, refine and improve the current iteration of the CDR template.

Before we can start building the infrastructure to support a CDR, we need to make sure the template is set up to capture and control the right data in the right way.

Why we need your help

You are the experts on your data - the data that is eventually going to populate the CDR. Having received over 770 comments from 40 organisations on our consultation on the CDR for Open Market North American Property insurance (as at 16 June 2021), it is really important that  you and your colleagues continue to review, comment, and feedback on future iterations of the the CDR template as we develop them for other classes of business. We need to be sure that the CDR template is set up right and that we have the supporting infrastructure around it.

What was in the initial iteration of the CDR template?

The focus of the initial iteration of the CDR template was on Open Market North American Property insurance.

We wanted to share what a real version of the CDR could look like and build up core definitions while layering in complexities for other classes and geographies at a later date.

The consultation closed in June 2021. The baseline Open Market North American Property insurance CDR, which includes all comments received and Release Notes that set out the changes made to the template during development, is available as a read-only file in Airtable below.
