Reviewing the Core Data Record Template
Learn about how you can review, refine and improve the current iteration of the CDR template.
Before we can start building the infrastructure to support a CDR, we need to make sure the template is set up to capture and control the right data in the right way.
How can you help?
You are the experts on your data - the data that is eventually going to populate the CDR. We would like you and your colleagues to review, comment, and feedback on the current iteration of the CDR template. We need to be absolutely sure that the CDR template is set up right before we start building the infrastructure around it.
We welcome your feedback on all aspects of the CDR template, including your insight and input on others’ comments too.
What is in the initial iteration of the CDR template?
The focus of the initial iteration of the CDR template is on Open Market North American Property insurance.
We wanted to share what a real version of the CDR could look like and build up core definitions while layering in complexities for other classes and geographies at a later date.
The initial iteration contains candidate CDR fields at different levels of completeness for your comments and feedback.
What happens next?
We will publish updated iterations of the CDR template as we incorporate the feedback we receive. This input will assist the development of the CDR so that a simulation can be built which can be used to validate data inputs, test the technology process and data enrichment, and inform the next stage of development. With the initial scope of Open Market North American Property for this simulation, further iterations of the CDR will include other classes of business and subsequently Delegated Authority business.
We strongly encourage you to review new areas as they are added to iterations - even if you have commented on previous iterations - so that we can benefit from your input and insight to deliver a solution that ultimately enables standardised, quality data to flow through the Lloyd's market more efficiently and effectively.
