The composition, along with individual member biographies, for the ESG Committee (“the Committee”), is outlined below.

The composition of the Committee comprises a Chair drawn from the Council of Lloyd’s; along with other representatives from the Council of Lloyd’s; representatives from the Lloyd’s Market; subject matter experts and executives from the Corporation of Lloyd’s.

Lord Sedwill was formerly Cabinet Secretary, National Security Advisor and Head of the UK Civil Service. He has a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience having led or helped shape policy-making approaches to topics such as ESG, energy transition, cyber security and digital transformation. Alongside chairing the G7 Panel on Economic Resilience, Lord Sedwill chairs the Pacific Future Forum. He is also a senior advisor to Rothschild & Co, and a member of the RNLI Council and of The HALO Trust board.

Dominick started working in the Lloyd’s market in 1985 as a graduate trainee with the Willis Group. He joined Munich Re Syndicate Limited in 1994 as an Energy Underwriter, and he was appointed as a director of Munich Re Syndicate Limited in 1997. Today, he is both the Group Chief Underwriting Officer and the Active Underwriter for Munich Re Syndicate Limited. Dominick is a past Chairman of both the Joint Rig Committee and the Energy Committee of the International Union of Marine Insurers. He has also served on the Board of the Lloyd’s Market Association and the Executive Committee of the International Union of Marine Insurers. He is currently an elected member of the Council of Lloyd’s.

Dominick started working in the Lloyd’s market in 1985 as a graduate trainee with the Willis Group. Fiona Luck has over 30 years’ experience in insurance and reinsurance. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Convex group and has previously held Non-Executive directorships for the Bermuda Monetary Authority, Allied World Holdings Ltd and Catlin Holdings Ltd. Prior to that, she spent a decade at XL Capital Ltd in a variety of senior roles, including Chief of Staff and Executive Vice-President responsible for Strategy, Global HR, IT and Corporate Social Responsibility. She has also worked for the ACE Group from 1996 to 1999 and was President and CEO of Marsh and McLennan’s Bermuda operation from 1992 to 1996. She is a Chartered Accountant.

He represents Rethink Mental Illness on the Richmond Group of major health charities in England. He is a Trustee of Beyond Shame, Beyond Stigma, which was set up by our ambassadors Jonny Benjamin and Neil Laybourn and is also Co-Chair of the National Suicide Prevention Alliance.

He began his career as a broadcast journalist in Scotland moving to the BBC in London and has spent 20 years in the voluntary sector with organisations including Shelter, the School Food Trust and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

Moses has been the Chief Executive Officer, Reinsurance at Swiss Re since July 2016, having joined the company in 2012. Prior to that, he was at Chubb – joining as a regional Underwriting Manager in 1999 before becoming the Head of Asia-Pacific in 2009. Moses started his career in insurance as a registered representative and agent of the Prudential Insurance Company of America in 1990. He holds a master’s degree in management from London Business School and has a BSc in Statistics.

Moses has been the Chief Executive Officer, Reinsurance at Swiss Re since July 2016, having joined the company in 2012.
