In January 2016 Lloyd’s achieved re-accreditation to BS OHSAS 18001:2007, it is the nationally recognised standard for Occupational Health and Safety that identifies Lloyd’s as a safe environment to work in.
Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) at Work Policy Statement
Lloyd’s has recently reviewed its OH&S at Work Policy Statement. In addition there is some important information for building users regarding your safety when working at Lloyd’s.
Persons with disabilities
Lloyd's has a duty to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place for the safe evacuation of persons with disabilities. If you have a disabled member of staff or visitor please ensure a Personal Emergency Evacuation Form is completed either prior to or immediately on their arrival.
As a building user
You have a duty to look after your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your errors or omissions. You also have a duty to comply with specific arrangements set out in Lloyd's Health and Safety Policy. The key requirements placed on tenant and underwriters working on Lloyd’s premises are contained in the following document.
