Crystal Consumer Business Information
Lloyd’s has recently been developing new content for Crystal on key aspects of the regulation of consumer business internationally, recognising the importance of guidance to the market on international conduct requirements.
This is in response to feedback from the market that this information would be of assistance to underwriters. The information consists of ‘core’ information for all countries where Lloyd’s holds a direct licence, in particular, on consumer protection legislation and complaints.
Crystal also has more detailed information for countries where the Lloyd’s market tends to have more consumer business, for example, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa and Spain. Further information is in preparation for the USA and for other countries.
Quick Search Function
To accompany this information, Lloyd’s has also developed an additional quick search function for Crystal regulatory items that relate to consumer business. This can be found on the right hand side of the Crystal search page and can be selected for single or multiple territories.
