Risk revealed event: Fusion energy

About this event

Fusion is the universe's most powerful form of energy - it has the potential to transform the world’s progress to net zero by providing clean, reliable baseload power.

Recent breakthroughs and advances in technology have proven the science, and focus is now turning to industrialising what is currently a prototypical technology and to commercialise the full fusion energy value chain.

In the first 'Risk revealed by Lloyd's' event of the year, we are joined by fusion experts to discuss the risks compared to traditional technologies and the opportunity for collaboration between the fusion industry and the insurance, finance and public sectors to accelerate the pace of fusion's commercialisation.
