Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

As part of Lloyd's on-going commitment to improve our customers experience and further enhance security of applications and data, we have enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in order to access Lloyd’s Services and Applications. This will make the login process easier and more secure.

Once enabled, you will be prompted to log in using the Microsoft Authenticator app or a hardware token.

Please follow the appropriate user guide found below, there are separate guides for Lloyd's Applications (excluding MDC) and for Lloyd's Services (including MDC, SecureShare & SharePoint Online).

Adaptive MFA

To help reduce the number of times you are asked to authenticate when using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) we have now introduced Adaptive MFA.

Adaptive MFA provides the same level of security but reduces authentication requests based on user and device information. For example if you always use the same device and user profile to log into a Lloyd’s application then Adaptive MFA will match this and automatically authenticate you. This means that you will still need to authenticate occasionally but not every time you log in.
