Local companies carrying out insurance activities in Poland, approved and certified by Lloyd’s. They hold underwriting authorisations to carry out their activities in Poland as representatives of Lloyd’s syndicates or managing agents, and offer their products to Polish clients or intermediaries. Coverholders hold authorisations to sign insurance contracts with a Lloyd’s logo, and they usually take part in the claims handling process.
Local brokers have a free access to Lloyd’s underwriters via Lloyd’s brokers in London. They place business on behalf of Polish brokers and their clients in the Underwriting Room.
