Consistent with the criteria set out in Auction Rule 4(4)(b)(i), Syndicate 510 will be entered into the forthcoming Auction 4. The trigger point for inclusion is defined as:

 “there has been a change in the active underwriter.”

It was announced on the 29 October 2015 that Paul MacMillan will be retiring from his position as Active Underwriter of its Aviation division within Syndicate 510 with effect from 1 January 2016. James Walker, currently Deputy Underwriter of the division, will succeed Paul as Active Underwriter.

James has more than 14 years’ industry experience in both the broking and underwriting roles and has worked alongside Paul for many years. Promoted to Deputy Underwriter in 2013, he is highly regarded within the team and in the market and is well placed to build upon the success of the division.
