Rachel Turk
Chief Underwriting Officer
Rachel joined Lloyd’s in November 2023 as Chief Underwriting Officer, responsible for the underwriting function at Lloyd’s where she is also a member of the Executive Committee, and chairs the Executive Sustainability Committee.
Rachel has significant experience in the Lloyd’s market with almost 15 years at Beazley PLC where she held a number of roles, including Group Head of Strategy (and member of the Executive team), Head of Corporate Development, and Focus Group Leader of the London based US D&O underwriting team.
Prior to joining Beazley, Rachel worked as an Equity Analyst for JP Morgan Cazenove, and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. Rachel is also a trustee on the board of the Sophie Hayes Foundation, which focuses on sustainable freedom for survivors of modern slavery.
