Marcus Walter Johnson has been a member of Lloyd’s since 1983. He is Deputy Chair and Director at Kirly Limited, Chair of the Association of Lloyd’s Members, Deputy Chair of Freedom Insurance Services and Chair of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Examination Panel for Pensions Transfers.
Marcus has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment in recognition of his significant positive contribution to the financial services profession and to CISI.
Marcus founded and was Managing Director of Amundi (previously known as Premium Management) for nearly 20 years, which provided asset management for insurers and included working directly for Lloyd’s syndicates as their appointed investment manager.
Marcus was also a Director at Meridian Performance Services from 2002-2011 where he provided investment consultancy services to Lloyd’s and its syndicates and trained investment managers on how to operate within the market.
