Password Reset

You may have been re-directed to this page following an attempt to log into a Lloyd’s application. To regain access to an application please follow the 'password reset' instructions sent to you via email.

In line with Lloyd's ongoing commitment to enhance security of applications and data, we will be applying our updated password policy for Lloyd’s applications users.

From Thursday 16 February, you will be prompted to change your password when you try to log into a Lloyd’s application. You will only have to do this once.

Changes to the password policy will bring Lloyd’s applications in line with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) guidance.

How to change your password

  1. Attempt to log in to the application as you normally would. This will trigger an email to you with details about how to change your password (please check your junk folder).
  2. Click on the link in the email and follow the instructions. Please ensure your new password is a minimum of 15 characters.

We have prepared a User Guide to help you change your password.

Password guidance

Your new password will need to be a minimum of 15 characters, and we recommend using three random words (such as BluesPaperSocks). You can include numbers and symbols if you’d like to, though these are not a requirement.

Please do not use words that can be guessed such as your name or address. Your password should be unique to Lloyd’s and should not be used for any other account, such as a personal email address.
