Artio provides insurance products for carbon projects at all stages in their life cycle, through their proprietary data-driven risk model which includes insights via real-time risk monitoring. Artio are developing innovative carbon credit delivery products that cover projects from the earliest stages.

Artio primarily focused on building their market leading risk model, building their innovative early-stage Carbon Credit insurance and open conversations with capacity partners who were aligned to their vision.

Whilst on the Accelerator, Artio successfully built and validated their risk model and insurance product and secured key distribution partnerships for their product with Howden, Marsh, WTW and Gallagher. Since leaving the programme, Artio are now FCA Approved with a live product and have secured capacity from HCC, Markel and Apollo with one of the biggest risk lines in the market. As of March 2025, Artio have been approved as a Lloyd’s Coverholder.
