Flu vaccinations

Annual flu vaccinations are available at the Wellbeing Centre.

Please see the below table for details of this year’s flu clinics.

Flu Jab tinetable 2018

Please call 0207 332 6249 to book your appointment.

Vaccinations are free for Lloyd’s employees. A £12 fee applies to market pass holders accessing the service at the Lloyd’s Wellbeing centre, which is pre-authorised on a debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Why should I get a flu jab?

Symptoms of flu include a high temperature (fever), muscle aches, cough, headache and extreme tiredness. If infected, individuals will develop antibodies and be immune to that particular virus strain, but not to others. The influenza vaccine helps develop antibodies from all four common circulating strains in any given year, therefore it is more likely to achieve better long term overall protection from vaccination than from natural resistance.

The flu jab gives excellent protection against seasonal flu and lasts for one year. You need a yearly jab to stay protected.
