The Benelux insurance market is the world’s 11th and Europe’s 3rd largest non-life insurance market in terms of gross direct premiums, generated almost EURO 450 million in premiums in 2011. This makes the Benelux a significant and strategic market for Lloyd’s.

All direct business as well as reinsurance risks can be written from the Lloyd’s platform in London, which is well positioned to take advantage of the development and trends in the Belgian insurance market.
