The Customer Oversight Team has developed an ‘Introduction to the Consumer Duty’ e-learning module which is available to the market, including to coverholders and DCAs, free of charge. The course is designed to be an introduction to the Consumer Duty and Lloyd’s Customer Oversight expectations. It provides a high level overview of the core elements of the Consumer Duty.
We encourage all staff who work with products that may be sold to individuals, microenterprises or SMEs in the UK to complete the training alongside more in depth role specific training as required.
