Corporate Affairs Director

Rebekah joined Lloyd’s in 2015 and was appointed Corporate Affairs Director in 2023. She is responsible for Lloyd’s government affairs, sustainability, thought leadership (Futureset), brand, communications and media. Rebekah is a member of Lloyd’s ESG Committee of Council, and is also responsible for driving the priorities and focus of cross-sector initiatives, including the Sustainable Markets Initiative Insurance Task Force, as well as its public sector partnerships.

Rebekah has over 20 years’ corporate affairs experience across government policy, sustainability, brand reputation, media and communications. This has included holding a number of senior roles across the public and private sectors, including in New Zealand’s Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet as Press Secretary and Senior Advisor to the Governor-General of New Zealand, and most recently establishing and leading Lloyd’s sustainability framework and initiatives as its first Sustainability Director. She holds an Executive MBA from Cranfield University, together with a Bachelor of Communications from Massey University of New Zealand. Rebekah is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and sits on the University of Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies Advisory Board, together with the ClimateWise Managing Committee.
