Stephane Flaquet
Chief Operating Officer
Stephane is Chief Operating Officer at Lloyd’s focused on the successful execution of the Corporation’s operations strategy, including managing the technology, data and change portfolio. Stephane also leads the Corporation’s work on the operational resilience of the market infrastructure and all Blueprint Two related activity.
Stephane has 30 years’ experience of building and leading high-performing teams while delivering complex change across international markets. Having joined Lloyd's from Hiscox, where he held a number of senior roles since joining in 2010, including Chief Operating Officer for Europe, Group Chief Information Officer, Chief Executive Officer of Hiscox Europe and Interim Chief Executive Officer for Hiscox UK. Most recently, Stephane served as Group Chief Operations and Technology Officer, having ultimate accountability for a number of Group functions including Technology, Change, Operations, Data, Claims, Marketing, Procurement and Property services, to ensure the continued effective and efficient delivery of core services while also driving operational efficiency and scalability. Before Hiscox, Stephane held senior roles at American International Group (AIG), CapitalOne and BNP Paribas.
