E-learning modules

Please note that these training modules are not mandatory, but they should be considered as useful tools. Managing agents should take a risk-based approach when requiring Coverholders and DCAs to complete them. Where individuals have already registered for one of these modules, they will not need to sign up again as all these modules will automatically be available within their profile.

Financial Crime Prevention

This training module has been developed in conjunction with the market and Its purpose is to ensure Lloyd’s market participants, no matter where they are located, understand; the basis of the UK Bribery Act 2010 (Bribery Act), particularly commercial bribery; their obligations in respect of the prevention of money laundering and reporting of suspicious transactions when conducting business on behalf of Lloyd's syndicates; and their obligations regarding compliance with international sanctions.

UK Complaints Handling

There are two versions of the module, the first ‘Assisting Eligible Complainants’ is for coverholders and DCAs that have authority to handle complaints from UK policyholders whereas the second ‘Identifying Eligible Complainants’ is for those that do not have complaint handling authority but do interact with UK policyholders.

Conduct Risk

This training has been developed in conjunction with the market and aims to provide coverholders and DCAs with an overview of conduct: how to identify conduct risk and what controls could be implemented to manage this risk.

Registration

Once the registration form is submitted, it will be reviewed centrally by Lloyd's to ensure only approved Lloyd's entities are undertaking the modules.

All Lloyd's approved entities can register for the training module using the following link:
