It is with immense sadness that we share that our dear friend and colleague, Eamonn Egan, Lloyd’s Country Manager and General Representative for Ireland since 2008 tragically passed away on 2 June 2025.
Our thoughts are first and foremost with Eamonn’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
Eamonn was well known and respected across the global network, as well as being an influential figurehead for the local market which went from strength to strength under his leadership. Eamonn will be fondly remembered for so many things, not least his wonderful character, dedication to the Ireland market, and of course his passion for all things equestrian.
We are looking at long-term arrangements but have organised an interim regulatory point of contact within LIC.
