Charity parnerships

Applications are now open for the Lloyd’s of London Foundation’s charity partnerships for 2024/26. This is an opportunity for charities to apply for a grant of £50,000 per year for a total partnership of two and half years (to December 2026), to support a project in any of the areas of: Health, Homelessness, Young People and Climate (support will be available to subsidise events and challenges.)

Grant information

The grant will give the charity the opportunity to partner with the Lloyd’s of London Foundation and engage with the Lloyd’s community both through our employees in the corporation and the wider Lloyd’s insurance market. We are looking to partner with organisations that support the people and communities in which we work and support employee engagement activities primarily through fundraising and volunteering as a secondary focus.

We are hosting a webinar on Thursday 28 March at 12.00pm for any charity interested in applying and would like to find out more information or have their questions answered.

Please submit your completed application and send to the email address below by 21 April 2024 23:59. Please answer questions to the best of your knowledge.

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by 29 April 2024 to further discuss their applications. All grants are subject to the completion of due diligence checks and a grant agreement between your organisation and the Lloyd’s of London Foundation.

Equipping communities with the tools to better understand future risks to our environment, build climate resilience and ensuring we give communities the tools to ensure the transition to net zero by 2050 a low carbon economy

Our partners

Doorstep Library

Doorstep Library works among London’s most disadvantaged communities using the power of reading as a tool to break the cycle of poverty. The Foundation’s support will help to empower 165 disadvantaged children from 75 families to access resources over the next 12 months. 

East London Business Alliance

ELBA’s Community Works programme supports and strengthens the voluntary and community sector in east London. 

Through a range of voluntary-based programmes, businesses can bring their time, skills and expertise to support voluntary organisations who lack the funding and resources to carry out their critical work.

Mental Health Foundation

The Mental Health Foundation (MHF) is the only UK charity focused on improving lives by taking action to prevent mental health problems, reaching those most in need. Funding from the Foundation will support U OK? a programme of mental health workshops held in colleges and universities, in collaboration with students.

Thames Reach

Thames Reach works to end street homelessness by helping vulnerable and homeless people to find decent homes, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives.

Support from the Lloyd’s of London Foundation will make it possible for around 1,700 people to access an employment and skills programme.

The Switch

Founded 30 years ago in the Tower Hamlets area of London, The Switch is committed to helping children and young people meet their potential. Through a wide range of volunteer-based programmes, The Switch provides a vital link between education and the world of work.

Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) London

SEO London prepares talented students from underserved and underrepresented backgrounds for career success. 

Our partnership with SEO London was born in January 2021, offering young people access to the Lloyd’s market and other top insurance firms. Candidates learn and develop through workshops, mentoring and placements with firms in the market.
