Airmic Field Trip to Lloyd's
Airmic partners with Lloyd's to deliver a one-day programme for risk managers who are Airmic members to come to Lloyd's to better understand the market and gain insight into Lloyd's Lab and innovation in insurance.
Lloyd's works in close partnership with Airmic, whose members are corporate insurance buyers and those involved in Enterprise Risk Management. Lloyd's also has a commitment to supporting the professional development of risk managers as a profession, to share best practice, provide educational opportunities and build relationships.
In January 2020 Lloyd's welcomes 20 Airmic members from a range of industry sectors: FMCG, Automotive and Mobility Industries, Energy, Education, Public Sector, Financial Services, Professional Services and Consulting and High Street Retail as well as many other sectors, to spend a day immersing themselves in the Lloyd's market.
The day's agenda is split into two parts, the morning will provide a baseline knowledge of the Lloyd's market, financial results, claims proposition, chain of security and how business is transacted as well as the opportunity to take a tour of the Lloyd's building to uncover what makes the market truly unique - our history and our future.
The afternoon focuses on innovation witha briefing on The Future at Lloyd's and followed by an interactive and dynamic demo session from five insurtechs/startups who have been through the Lloyd's Lab and who are at the cutting-edge of technology development.
