By a notice dated 1 September 2023, members were informed of the vacancies arising on the Council of Lloyd’s
At the close of the nomination process, valid nominations had been received as follows:
C-External member – one candidate for one vacancy
AXA XL SYNDICATE LIMITED (represented by Mr Sean McGOVERN)
Individual External member – one candidate for one vacancy
Mr Marcus JOHNSON
As the number of C-External and Individual External candidates equals the number of vacancies, a ballot will not be necessary and each of the above are elected.
Working member – three candidates for two vacancies
Ms Karen ALLEN
Mr Andrew BROOKS
Ms Victoria CARTER
As the number of Working member candidates exceeds the number of vacancies, a ballot will be held. Further information in relation to the ballot is being provided to the members today.
The term of office for the C-External, Individual External and Working member seats will commence on 1 December 2023 and will be for a period of three years, unless terminated earlier in accordance with paragraph 5.28 of the Constitutional Arrangements Byelaw (No. 2 of 2010).
