OpenCover protects the growing number of businesses transacting on blockchain networks against technical, economic, and cybersecurity risks. OpenCover’s real-time blockchain transaction cover, recreates the safety net businesses rely on when transacting on traditional rails.
OpenCover joined the programme with no formal background in insurance. They left with a strong knowledge foundation and network. Whilst at the Lab, they honed their product, including an underwriting dashboard that enabled underwriters to get comfortable with blockchain transaction risk—a first. OpenCover also made significant advances in risk pricing and capital efficiency through actuarial and wider industry mentoring.
