Ambitious About Autism

About this event

Join Ambitious about Autism (AaA) and Lloyd’s at our ‘Ambitious about Autism’ event.

This is your opportunity to better understand the challenges faced by autistic people in the workplace, be empowered to support neurodiverse colleagues and hear from those with lived experience.

We stand with autistic people. We ensure they can be themselves and realise their ambitions. You can stand with them too.

The event aims to:

  • Encourage employers to become more inclusive
  • Form relationships with Lloyd’s and its network, to support AaA fundraising

The event will be beneficial to:

  • Any employer
  • Those involved in the hiring process
  • Line Managers (either with, or without experience of managing autistic people)
  • Neurodiverse individuals, or parents and carers of autistic young people
  • Members of DEI Networks
  • Those open to learning more about autism and the challenges that autistic people face in the world of work
  • Anyone wanting to be better equipped to create inclusive spaces for autistic people, both at work and in their day to day lives.

About Ambitious about Autism

Autistic children and young people are at the heart of everything we do. We stand with them, champion their rights and create opportunities.

We run specialist schools and colleges, national youth and employability programmes and we campaign for change.

We work with others to increase autism acceptance. We see a future where every autistic child and young person can be themselves and realise their ambitions.

About Lloyd’s

Lloyd’s has achieved the Disability Confident Leader status demonstrating our commitment to inclusive recruitment and talent development. A key aspect of this is our workplace adjustments arrangements.
