UK Motor Specialist insurer ERS is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Bilsby as Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1st November 2020 and subject to regulatory approval. Peter will work alongside Ian Parker to ensure a smooth transition into the full role as soon as possible, subject to regulatory approval. Ian will remain with ERS until the end of the year.

In addition, ERS is announcing the appointment of Richard Hextall in the newly created role of Group Chief Financial Officer.

The change is announced now to comply with Lloyd’s disclosure rules before the 2021 capacity auctions commence.

Both the SBF and SCR have been approved by Lloyd’s and remain unchanged because of this announcement.
