The Lloyd’s building contains a collection of rooms available to hire, combining history and tradition with modern, flexible spaces in an icon of modern architecture.

From private dinners for 10 people to champagne & canapés parties for 400, our rooms offer the flexibility to host all types of events.

Banqueting Suite

Up to 400 guests 


Located on the Lower Ground floor next to the main reception, the simple yet sophisticated décor of the Banqueting Suite makes it the perfect blank canvas to dress, theme and brand for large drinks receptions, dinners or meetings for up to 400 guests standing.


The London Rooms

The London Rooms

Up to 180 guests


Located on Gallery 11, the London Rooms are flexible, light spaces with fabulous views over the City of London and of the famous Lloyd’s building atrium. 

The rooms are perfect for presentations for up to 180 guests, meals for up to 90, or for drinks for up to 150.


The Old Library

The Old Library

Up to 350 guests


Built in 1928 for Lloyd’s home at the time on Leadenhall Street, the oak panelled Old Library can seat up to 170 people for a meeting, or 350 people for a cocktail party when used in combination with the adjoining Lower Ground concourse, where guests can also take a tour of the impressive Nelson Collection.


The Sir David Rowland Room

Up to 28 guests


Located on Gallery 11, the Sir David Rowland Room has stunning views from beneath the glass atrium, and seating for up to 28 guests around the elegant mahogany table.

Up to 16 guests 


Accommodating up to 16 guests for meetings, presentations, lunch or dinner, our private dining rooms located on the Lower Ground floor are comfortable, quiet spaces for smaller groups.


The Adam Room

The Adam Room

Up to 80 guests


Located on Gallery 11, the Adam Room is an adaptation of the original dining room of architect Robert Adam, designed in 1763. 

The room’s classical Georgian elegance is a striking contrast to the modern design that surrounds it and provides the perfect space for truly memorable dinners for up to 80 guests. 

Please note the Adam Room can only be used for insurance related organisations with approval from the Lloyd’s CEO.
