Supporting research that helps build a more resilient future
The Lloyd's of London Foundation Research Grant supports innovative research that improves understanding of risk and delivers practical benefits for society. The programme funds projects that help communities better understand, prepare for and respond to risk, with a particular focus on climate change adaptation and mitigation and related societal challenges.
Funding is available for projects from universities, research institutions, registered charities and other organisations whose work contributes to greater risk awareness, resilience and protection. Research supported by the Foundation must be openly accessible and designed to create meaningful impact for communities in the UK and around the world.
