Council Election results
By a notice dated 26 March 2020, members were informed of the vacancies arising.
At the close of nominations at 1.00pm on 9 April 2020, valid nomination papers had been received as follows:
Working member – Three candidates for three vacancies
Mr Andrew BROOKS
Ms Victoria CARTER
Mr Dominic CHRISTIAN
As the number of working member candidates equals the number of vacancies, a ballot will not be necessary. Mr Brooks, Ms Carter and Mr Christian have therefore each been re-elected.
Individual external member – one candidate for one vacancy
Nameco (No. 1249) Limited (represented by Mr Jeffery BARRATT)
As the number of individual external candidates equals the number of vacancies, a ballot will not be necessary. Nameco (No. 1249) Limited (represented by Mr Barratt) has therefore been re-elected.
C-external member – two candidate for two vacancies
Axis Corporate Capital UK Limited (represented by Mr Albert BENCHIMOL)
Flectat Limited (represented by Mr Michael WATSON)
As the number of C-external candidates equals the number of vacancies, a ballot will not be necessary. Axis Corporate Capital UK Limited (represented by Mr Benchimol) and Flectat Limited (represented by Mr Watson) have therefore been re-elected.
All terms of office will be for a period of six months commencing on 1 June 2020.
