Apprentices

Our apprenticeship programmes

The Lloyd's Apprenticeship Programme is an exciting alternative for those who don’t wish to go to university. In 2025, we are running three schemes: Insurance, Business and HR.

To take part in our apprentice programmes, you are required to have A Levels or equivalent (Grade C or above) and GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or above).

Applications for our 2025 roles are now open.

Insurance Apprenticeship Programme

Applications are now open.

Our Insurance Apprenticeship programme consists of multiple placements within the Lloyd’s Corporation, as well as the Lloyd’s market. It is aimed at those with an interest in insurance, allowing you to experience a variety of roles within the sector.

Business Apprenticeship Programme

Applications are now open.

Our Level 6 Business Degree Apprenticeship Programme is aimed at those that want to learn how a global business operates. Although we operate in the insurance industry, this scheme doesn’t have a specific insurance focus – instead it offers a rounded introduction to different professional areas and skills.

HR Apprenticeship Programme

Applications are now open.

Our Level 5 CIPD Apprenticeship will help you unlock key skills and expertise, to gain a deeper understanding of HR practices across Lloyd's.

What do we look for?

We are looking for those who are curious about our organization and future opportunities with us. Here at Lloyd's, we take a strengths-based approach to assessment. We want to explore what stimulates and inspires you, instead of placing too much emphasis on what experience you may already have.

Essentially, we want you to be your authentic self! Navigate through our assessment process honestly and authentically, this is the best way to show us your potential and ability.
