Lloyd’s Virtual Reality Market Experience Terms of use
Lloyd’s grants to the user a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, non-assignable and non-sublicensable licence (the “Licence”) to use the Lloyd’s Virtual Reality Market Experience (the ”VR experience”), subject to the terms and conditions contained in these Terms of Use. All intellectual property rights in the VR experience and all parts and copies thereof shall remain vested in Lloyd’s.
The VR experience shall be used only for the user’s own internal business purposes. In particular and without limitation, no publication or reproduction of the VR experience is permitted in any format or medium without the express prior written permission of Lloyd’s.
The user agrees that it shall not use the VR experience in any way which is detrimental to Lloyd’s, including without limitation to Lloyd’s intellectual property rights, goodwill or reputation.
The VR experience is intended for general information purposes only and is provided ‘as is’. Lloyd’s does not accept any responsibility for any errors or omissions and does not represent, warrant or undertake that the VR experience is accurate, complete, up to date or reliable. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lloyd’s disclaims and excludes all warranties, terms and other conditions implied by statute, common law, custom, collaterally or otherwise. Lloyd’s does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever and all such liability is excluded, other than where to exclude liability would be unlawful. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Lloyd’s disclaims, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any responsibility or liability for any loss to any person acting or refraining from acting as the result of, but not limited to, any statement, fact, figure, expression of opinion or belief contained in the VR experience.
Lloyd’s may revoke the Licence at any time and for any reason by providing written notice to the user. Upon such notice the user shall promptly destroy all copies of the VR experience.
These Terms of Use constitute the whole agreement between the parties with respect to the subject of these Terms of Use.
No term of these Terms of Use shall be enforceable by a third party.
These Terms of Use shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales and each party hereby submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. However, either party may take injunctive or other action in any other jurisdiction for the purpose of enforcing its intellectual property rights.
