Market Update: US and Canada

Despite the challenges presented by COVID-19 since early 2020, Lloyd’s continues to grow in North America and is well positioned to maintain the momentum established across decades of responding to the region’s evolving risks and threats. 

During the week of November 8, I’ll be in London for the first time in nearly two years and hope you’ll join my colleagues and me for an in-person update on market conditions and opportunities for Lloyd’s in the US and Canada.  

I’ll be covering the US and sharing the Old Library stage with Marc Lipman, President of Lloyd’s Canada, who joined us in July 2020 and Carey Bond, US Head of Claims, who joined Lloyd's as hurricane season got underway in August of last year. Lloyd’s Market Development Director in Canada, Asima Zahid, will be in the room with us as well. 

I’m excited by this opportunity to renew friendships in London and introduce you to Marc, Asima and Carey. We're your eyes and ears on the ground and, as healthier times return, we remain committed to expanding your access in Lloyd’s largest region.
