The Spring Worldwide Programme at Lloyd's this year focused mainly on Technology & Liability; Resilience; Energy and Decarbonisation. The GDC hosted 24 insurance professionals from around the world to participate in our programme of interactive sessions and networking activities which enabled them to gain a detailed understanding of how the Lloyd's market operates and to explore the diverse classes of business in which the market specialises.

This programme explored how specialist (re)insurance is providing risk transfer solutions for major multinationals, small to medium-sized enterprises and communities that improve their resilience in challenging times.

A highlight of the programme was the market experience session where delegates spent time with an underwriter at the Box in the Underwriting Room observing the face to face negotiation and placing of risks.

A variety of networking opportunities, and dinner with Lloyd's CEO John Neal gave attendees the chance to make new connections as well as develop relationships with fellow delegates from around the globe.
