Lloyd’s announces Council membership updates

Lloyd’s, the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance market, has today announced the below membership updates to the Council of Lloyd’s. 

  • Fiona Luck, who joined Lloyd’s Council in 2018, has been appointed as Senior Independent Director (subject to regulatory approval) and Deputy Chair, following Lord Mark Sedwill’s departure on 30 November 2025. 
  • Sean McGovern, who joined Lloyd’s Council in 2023, has replaced Andrew Brooks as Deputy Chair, effective 1 February 2026.   
  • They join Victoria Carter, who has served as Deputy Chair since 2021.
