The Lloyd’s investment platform was created in 2023 as an innovative, open-access solution to improve the competitiveness of the Lloyd’s market by making it easier to generate risk-adjusted investment returns on capital held at Lloyd’s.
The platform consists of a series of bespoke fund solutions that give investors access to a broader range of investment opportunities, including private assets. By consolidating investment activity under one umbrella, it enables market participants to benefit from collective economies of scale and lower costs.
The platform also helps to deliver against individual net zero objectives, with key ESG criteria fully integrated across all platform funds, thereby enabling Lloyd’s to improve its collective environmental and social impact.

The Lloyd’s Investment Committee is responsible for oversight and monitoring of the investment platform, including fund strategies and performance, as well as, operating in accordance with the operating model agreed by the Council and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
