Meet the Market: Chicago and Toronto
Lloyd’s is delighted to be hosting “Meet the Market” events in Chicago and Toronto in October 2014.
The focus is to provide our London and North America stakeholders with a unique opportunity to establish and renew existing relationships and to provide a forum for underwriters and brokers to meet face-to-face with North American brokers to answer questions, discuss their clients’ insurance needs and encourage new business.
What can you expect from the Meet the Market event?
- An opportunity to network and establish some valuable new business contacts
- An opportunity for North American brokers to gain a better understanding of how to access the Lloyd’s market and learn more about how our market’s solutions remain viable 326 years after its humble beginnings
- Increase general awareness of your product offering
We’ll kick off both events at 13:30 with opening remarks from Lloyd’s CEO Inga Beale and Lloyd's Director of International Markets Vincent Vandendael. The “Meet the Lloyd’s Market” event will follow, replicating the famous Lloyd’s underwriting room with a series of “boxes” hosted by syndicate underwriters and London brokers representing multiple classes of (re)insurance written at Lloyd’s.
We'll then be hosting a cocktail reception from 17:00 – 18:30 for all attendees.
