Lloyd’s 2017 AGM results announcement

The two resolutions as set out below, were passed overwhelmingly in favour on a show of hands. 1 member voted against each of the resolutions.

Resolution 1

“That the Society of Lloyd’s Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2016 have been examined and the Society of Lloyd’s 2016 Annual Report received”

Resolution 2

“To appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the auditors of the Aggregate Accounts to hold office from the conclusion of the meeting to the end of the next period for appointing auditors under paragraph 5(2) of Schedule 3 to the Insurance Accounts Directive (Lloyd's Syndicate and Aggregate Accounts) Regulations 2008”

The vote on a show of hands was consistent with the Chairman’s proxy votes which were 100% in favour of resolution 1 and 100% in favour of resolution 2. 1 of the proxy votes for resolution 1 was withheld. 3 of the proxy votes for resolution 2 were withheld. A vote withheld is not a vote in law and is not counted in the calculation of the proportion of votes for and against the resolution.
