Lloyd's Brazil made a special Christmas celebration to 20 children who live in an orphanage in Rio de Janeiro
Lloyd’s Brazil hosted a Christmas celebration on the 1st of December 2016 for 68 guests, including Lloyd’s co-located syndicates, local brokers and (retro)cedants.
Taking this opportunity Lloyd's Brazil invited all guests to bring toys and clothes (or to make a money contribution) to donate to an Orphanage in Rio de Janeiro.
In total 18 toys and 9 pieces of clothes were donated as well as BRL1.600 (US$ 370) in cash. These funds were used to buy additional toys and clothes to make a special Christmas party for about 20 children who live in the Orphanage.
In addition to the donation of toys and clothes, Lloyd’s Brazil contracted entertainment and food buffet services to make a Christmas celebration with the children at the orphanage. Lloyd’s Brazil team, including our very own Father Christmas (Marco Castro), spent the afternoon entertaining the children and delivering the Christmas gifts.
