Music + Me
At the seventh Meet the Market, Lloyd's Brazil celebrated the 10th anniversary of Lloyd’s license in Brazil. People from the local insurance/reinsurance market networked and supported the Lloyd’s Brazil Together CSR work with ‘Music + Me’.
The event was held in Rio de Janeiro, where 13 Lloyd’s syndicates and 310 guests from the local market came together to meet with underwriters from Lloyd’s syndicates and enjoy the Lloyd’s market atmosphere in a recreation of the Underwriting Room.
Lloyd’s Together
The Lloyd's Brazil team showed their CSR community spirit by supporting a local social programme, "Music + Me". The programme works to improve the quality of life of children and young victims of social unbalance in the city through music.
The "Music + Me" orchestra entertained the Lloyd’s guests at the event with a musical performance and hosted a box alongside the syndicates to showcase how they are helping those in need.
As part of Lloyd's Brazil fundraising efforts, they sold branded t-shirts with "Lloyd's Together" and "Music + Me" logos to raise funds for the programme. In addition Lloyd's Brazil donated a drum set for the programme’s music school. The initiative raised a total of £2,000 for "Music + Me".
