Solvency II Online Tutorials
To help build your understanding of this major regulatory reform, we have launched two Solvency II online tutorials.
As the work on Solvency II draws closer to completion it is important we have an understanding of its goals and deliverables.
With that in mind, Lloyd's has produced two online tutorials - one to offer people a general understanding of the new regulation and another, aimed at board members, with more detailed guidance of the Lloyd's workstreams.

Following feedback received from the market on the Solvency II Tutorial (Edition 1) launched in May 2011, we have introduced a second edition with further modules.
This tutorial is primarily aimed at Board and senior management within managing agents to help develop an understanding of Lloyd’s workstreams ahead of the submission of the Final Application Pack (FAP) due in December 2011.

Split into five modules, this interactive tutorial will steer you through how the Solvency II framework has evolved, its structure and its implementation at Lloyd’s. There is a short test at the end of each module. Those who collect CPD points will be pleased to know that the tutorial is accredited by the CII for 30 minutes of CPD under the new CII rules on continuous development.
The tutorial will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. However, should you need longer to complete it, your PC will remember at what point you left the tutorial and allow you to begin again from that point.
