Lloyd's Minimum Standards

The minimum standards are statements of business conduct which managing agents are expected to comply with to operate at Lloyd’s.

Further detail on the structure of the standards and Lloyd’s expectations is included in the ‘minimum standards introduction’ document available on this page.

It is the responsibility of the board and senior leaders of a managing agency to establish the ethical culture of their organisation. In addition to leadership and example, an ethics based culture should be promoted through an ethics programme which works to embed ethical values in to business behaviours, strategy, decision making, processes and operations, as well as manage the risk of ethical misconduct. More detail can be found in the Brand and Reputation Minimum Standard within the Operating at Lloyd's standards category.
