Adrenalin junkies run for cover.

Dangerous sports are more popular and numerous than ever, with new sports such as kite surfing, proving popular with adrenalin junkies in addition to the more traditional extreme sports like skiing and scuba diving.

A new type of cover, SportsGuard, designed for individual sports people has been brokered into the market by Crispin Speers & Partners.

David Stirling, a director of Crispin Speers & Partners, says: “SportsGuard is a specialised product designed for active sportsmen and women and covers all types of sport.”

The product covers many of the newer ‘fashionable’ sports, such as kite surfing, downhill mountain biking, and mountain boarding. Managing director of SportsCover Direct, Julian Hucks, says: “The product is a response to the increasing demands of the market.
