Generalist Graduate Programme
On this programme you are given every opportunity to learn about the variety of career opportunities that exist within the insurance sector.
The rotational design of this programme enables you to spend your first two placements in different areas within the Lloyd’s Corporation and the final placement will be with a managing agent or a broking house giving you the full spectrum of knowledge to help you choose an area of specialism to gain a permanent role at the end of the programme.
Through three placements you could be:
- Examining the potential impact catastrophes might have on Lloyd’s in our Exposure Management team. This team is here to manage risks that might affect the market.
- Managing relationships with international regulators in our International Regulatory Affairs team. This area of the Corporation is responsible for maintaining relationships with regulators and influencing regulatory policy in all overseas territories in which Lloyd’s writes business.
- Helping underwriting specialists assess risks in a managing agent who are the legal entities that handle the insurance activities on behalf of the syndicates at Lloyd’s.
Other placements could be within our Risk Management, Strategy and Business Planning, Syndicate Underwriting Performance plus a lot more too to ensure you gain a broad but insightful understanding of the world of risk.
