Governance

The Exchange is owned by The Message Exchange Limited (TMEL).

TMEL is a company limited by guarantee.  There are four equal participant organisations that jointly own TMEL - International Underwriters Association (IUA); London and International Insurance Brokers Association (LIIBA); Lloyd's Market Association (LMA); and the Society of Lloyd's (Lloyd's).

Each member nominates one director to the TMEL Board.  They are currently:
