Exchange

The Exchange is a messaging hub that supports the transmission and receipt of ACORD standard data messages between counterparties in the London insurance market. It is a secure environment in which brokers, underwriters and IT suppliers can operate from a single connection point.

After a successful year’s pilot in marine classes and implementing electronic endorsements in property, specie and professional indemnity, all other classes were live for electronic business from 5 March 2012.
