Brokers
If you are a broker you must add your interest in Atlas. Locate the company on Atlas via the 'company search' tab. Make sure the drop down is set to 'all coverholders'. Right click on 'Actions' and select 'Add a broker's interest'.
Managing agents
If a managing agent is interested in leading a binder or currently follows on a binder and requires access to the coverholder's record to do their due dilligence, the broker needs to add 'an associated managing agent's interest' on the managing agent's behalf. A managing agent cannot request this for themselves.
If a managing agent wishes to deal directly with a coverholder, the managing agent should select 'add a direct dealing relationship' on Atlas.
If the coverholder is restricted to only doing business with particular managing agents, either the broker or managing agent should start a 'permitted lead managing agent' request.
